  • Digital Press Guild credentials are free.
  • A credential identifies an ABandito contributor; it does not grant access to private, closed, restricted, or hazardous property.
  • Physical cards are optional keepsakes/tools and should be handled as physical goods, not paid app features.
  • Any physical-card markup should be disclosed as stewardship funding for monitoring, smoke detection, and preservation support.

The planned flow is: free digital credential first, optional physical card order second, transparent cost-plus-stewardship pricing, and a vendor adapter that sends print-ready front/back artwork only after the user confirms shipping and payment outside the digital credential itself.

Comparator notes: press-pass templates and POD badge makers commonly use a front with logo, full name, photo, role, credential number, and verification marker; the ABandito back should stay unusually explicit about limits and permissions.
